There are many organisations that provide services to youth between the ages of 10-25. A key provider is listed below for each Council area, who provides services and will also direct you to specialist youth service providers in your area if necessary.

Boroondara Council – Youth Services
Their drop in centre is at 35 Fairholm Grove, Camberwell VIC 3124.
Provide services to young people aged between 10 and 25 years, and their families or carers, who live work or study in Boroondara. They support personal development, and offer a diverse range of programs, information, referrals and advocacy. Their friendly and experienced staff can also provide one-on-one counselling support services.
Frontyard Youth Services
For a drop in youth service in the City open seven days a week, go to Frontyard, 19 King Street, Melbourne. Mon-Fri 9am-8pm; Sat-Sun 10am-6pm
Knox Council – Youth Services
Their drop in centre is the Knox Youth Services Information Centre at Knox Ozone /Knox City Shopping Centre. 2 Capital City Boulevard, Ground Floor, Knox Ozone, Wantirna South VIC 3152.
They provide information referral support and programs for young people aged between 10-25 years who are living, working, recreating or studying in the City of Knox.
Their Youth Information Centre is located at Knox Ozone and provides information, advice, individual assistance and referral for young people and their families regarding: family conflict; accommodation; drug & alcohol issues; relationships; sexual health; sexuality; employment and training; consumer rights & responsibilities; and resources related to studying.
Manningham YMCA – Youth Services

Manningham YMCA provide generalist youth services to 12-25 year olds who live, study, work, or play in the Manningham local community. Their programs are includes, strength based and designed to build self confidence, leadership skills and resilience.
Maroondah Council – Youth Services
Their drop in centre is EV’s Youth Centre at 212 Mt. Dandenong Road, Croydon VIC 3136
Maroondah Youth Services assists young people (12-25 years old) and parents to find support on almost any issue including school, finding a job, family issues, getting involved in the community, or if a young person is just having a hard time. They will also assist by finding specialist services to assist, if need be.
Monash Council – Youth Services
They have drop in centres in Glen Waverley, Clayton and Chadstone.
Provide a range of services for young people (10-25 years) and families. This includes: information, referral, support, counselling, support groups, employment assistance, recreation and advocacy. They provide a Young Mums group and also a number of Family Support Programs; and also free crisis and short term counselling.
Murrindindi Council – Youth Services
Assist young people who live, work or study within the shire, by working closely in partnership with other local organisations to provide ongoing interactive educational and fun programs that involve youth and community. This includes FreeZa events, a YMCA School Holiday Program, a L2P Mentor Driver Program and there is also a Youth Panel of Council.
Nillumbik Council – Youth Services
Nillumbik Youth Services provides a range of services for young people and families. They run Freeza Events, have a L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program, iNSIGHT a creative arts program, Glee a music and dance program, an outreach program and their website has lots of useful information.
Whitehorse Council – Youth Services
Their drop in centre is Youth ConneXions a support and referral centre in the Centre Box Hill Shopping Centre open 1-5pm each weekday. For more info about this centre ph: (03) 9898 9340. And there is a Youth Noticeboard in the Box Hill Mall.
The Youth Services Team provide a broad range of programs and support services to young people (aged 12-25) and their families. They aim to empower all young people to make a health and safe transition into adulthood in a community where they are valued and respected. Services include: a youth information card; a youth services directory; a multicultural homework support program; and also the Girls with Attitude program.
Yarra Ranges Council – Youth Services
Their drop in centre is at 216-218 Maroondah Highway, Lilydale VIC 3140.
Yarra Ranges Council Youth Services provide a wide range of information and support to young people, including: counselling; peer support groups; mental health programs; a young parents & kids playgroup; a L2P driving practice for learners program; and is involved in the No Wrong Door and School Focused Youth Services Networks.
